Trigger Control Training

Reilly Steiner

Firearms Instructor

Hey everyone! My name is Reilly Steiner, and I'm very proud to say I'm part of the Trigger Control team! My love for firearms and the training aspect didn't strike until just a few years ago. Originally from the Bitterroot Valley of Montana, my mom and I moved to Coeur d' Alene, where we were able to live on a Longhorn ranch and I developed my love and curiosity for the outdoors. Sense 2001 we have called beautiful Coeur D Alene home, during my time in school I grew a passion for music and the performing arts. This gave me the opportunity to strive for excellence, set goals, and work as a team. Overall I was deeply involved in music until I graduated high school in 2013. A few months after I graduated I received my Nursing Assistant certification, where I also learned CPR and First Aid. During that time I met the love of my life and future husband. He led me back on the path of outdoors and helped me out of my comfort zone with firearms. After graduation my fiance and I have developed a passion for hunting, firearms training, and a desire to develop personal protection skills together. I started training with Trigger Control in 2014, and am currently an apprentice instructor; I have taken nearly all of Trigger Controls courses, participate in our monthly night shoots, and am a certified Smith & Wesson M&P Armorer. I honestly did not think my career path would be a firearms instructor, even though I have only been involved for a couple years, it feels like I've been shooting since I could walk. I am able to apply a lot of the same life skills learned in music to my firearms training, it feels familiar and relieving. You can currently find me managing a coffee shop and bar called Fine Brewed in downtown Coeur d' Alene on Sherman Ave. Soon enough you'll see me teaching classes and help calling the range. Thank you for taking the time to read my bio!
